Northern Climate Policy Manual
Current climate policy, including COVID-19 recovery efforts, are being shaped without comprehensive understanding, consideration, and involvement of youth. Understanding the structures that create policy is the first step for young people to be heard and influence change.
The Northern Climate Policy Manual aims to demystify Territorial and Federal governance structures, providing youth with practical knowledge and tools on how to take climate action at those levels.
The Manual covers a range of topics but is broken down into four key sections:
How are Climate Policy Decisions Made?
The Who, How and What of Climate Policy at the Federal Level
The Who, How and What of Climate Policy at the Territorial Level
Taking it to Government: Climate Action Pathways
